How to Play
Before you start
First, you'll need to install a Sui wallet extension if you haven't already. The Sui Wallet offered by Mysten Labs is a good start!
Also, website responsiveness is currently in progress 😅. Please zoom in/out as needed! I’d also recommend not playing on mobile (for now!)
Wagmi Kitchen is currently only available on testnet. Please change the network of your wallet to “Testnet” in order to start playing

Create a Player account
First, click “Connect wallet to play” and connect any of your installed wallets

All players must have a “Player” account. Click “Create Player Account” to create one. You’ll need SUI to create an account. Click “Get SUI” if you don’t have any!

Perfect! You now have a player account. Your account has different stats like “High Score”, “Challenge Wins”, etc. These stats will be updated as you play games.

Create your first Chef
Before you can play a game, you’ll need to select a Chef to play with! Click “Chefs” to head over to the Chefs page
On this page, you can view your entire Chef collection. You currently don’t have any. Click “Create Chef” to get a few 😊

This looks better! You’ll see that each chef has a unique look and a unique set of skills. These skills determine how well your chef "cooks" particular meals. Let’s select a chef so we can see this in action.

You may have noticed that each chef has a certain amount of SUI you can collect from it. That's because these are "Head Chefs". You can learn more about Head Chefs here.
Set Wager
Back on the home page, you’ll see that we can now start a game with our selected chef.
As mentioned earlier, you can wager any amount of SUI you want between .001 and 1000. I think I’ll wager 1 SUI for this game!

The Game Board
We’ve finally arrived at the Wagmi Kitchen game board! Now the real fun begins 😁

How to Win
The goal of the game is to get a higher score than the “Score to Beat” (shown at the top of the screen) before the game ends! The score to beat is determined by the host of the pool. More on that here.
The game ends when all ingredients on the 6x6 grid are cleared.
You can add to your score in 2 ways:
- Collect ingredients
- Serve meals
Chef Skills
Click on your chef to get a closer look at it’s skills and stats.

When a chef is created, it’s randomly assigned 15 skill points across 5 food groups:
- Burgers 🍔
- Tacos 🌮
- Pizza 🍕
- Pasta 🍝
- Salad 🥗.
Each skill point is worth $5 in tips for that food group. For example, this chef only earns $5 in tips when serving salad, but $20 in tips any time it serves pasta. Not bad! Click on “Go to current game” to get back to the game!
Collecting Ingredients
To collect an ingredient, hover over an ingredient that has 2 or more open sides and click it. Currently, only the ingredients in the 4 corners meet this requirement (indicated by the green borders)

When you collect an ingredient, you’ll receive points based on it’s price (shown in the “Ingredients” section).

I’ll start by collecting a tortilla for $3.
The Spoils Bot
What just happened?! Ah yes, the dreaded Spoils Bot “spoiled” ingredients that also had 2 or more open sides 😭.

It spoils 3 ingredients at random every turn! No worries though, we still have more game to play. Again, the game doesn’t end until the board is cleared.
Meal Expiration
The first meal always expires after 3 turns (indicated by the “health bars”)
Meal Prices
Hovering over a meal shows you what ingredients are required in order to serve it

The amount you make for serving a meal (ie gross sale) = sum of ingredients * 3 + chef’s tip
However, when a meal is served, those ingredients are removed from your collection. Therefore, the amount you actually make (ie net sale) = price of the meal - sum of ingredients
In summary, collecting ingredients is cool, but serving meals is where the money is at!
Serving Meals
All I have is a tortilla at the moment. Let’s try to collect a few more ingredients and see if we can serve something!

Remember, now I can grab this bun because the space below it and the space to the right of it are free. That’s 2 (or more) open sides! Let's play a few more turns.
The Spoils Bot is not messing around! It took a lot of good ingredients 🤬.

That’s all good though, I’ve collected enough ingredients to serve the “Hamburger” for a net sale of $29!

Now you'll see the Hamburger is showing up in my "Served" section

Note: Serving a meal counts as a turn. Meaning the spoils bot will still spoil 3 ingredients at random after a meal is served!

I'm seeing a lot of red...
Yep...we're getting close to the end game. If an ingredient has red text next to it, that means there is no more of that ingredient left on the grid.
If a meal has red text, that means the meal can no longer be served for the remainder of the game. There aren't enough ingredients collected or left on the board in order to serve it.

Game End - Loss 🥲
Welp after playing out the rest of the game...I lost! 😅

That's all good! I'm going to keep playing until I get a win!
Game End - Win 🥳
And now I've won! (dont' ask how long that took)
Now I can click “Claim Reward” to double my wager!

Claiming Rewards
For this game, I wagered 1 SUI and won ~1.94 SUI 😄 It’s not exactly 2 SUI (ie double of my wager) since 2% of the reward goes to Head Chef owners, 1% of the reward goes to admin funds, and a tiny bit of SUI is used to pay for the transaction.

The Receipts Page
You can also go to the “Receipts” page to claim your reward and view past games
