The Chef Collection

The State of Blockchain Gaming​

Blockchain games tend to fall into a few camps:

  • There’s a huge/unlimited NFT collection to allow a lot of people to play with those “characters” in game. The tradeoff is that there’s no incentive for being an initial minter.

  • There’s a limited NFT collection, so that the limited set of minters get some sort of benefits. The tradeoff is that a limited amount of people can play since there are a limited amount of NFTs.

  • The size of the NFT collection doesn’t matter. The NFTs aren’t used in the game 🤷🏾‍♂️.

Head Chefs and Regular Chefs​

Wagmi Kitchen aims to not fall into any of those camps

  • The Chef Collection is comprised of 2 different types of NFTs: Head Chefs and Regular Chefs

  • 4000 Head Chefs are available to mint in the beginning

  • After all Head Chefs are minted, an unlimited amount of Regular Chefs can be minted. Each Regular Chef inherits the skills and skin of one Head Chef. Regular Chefs are given the default chef clothing (ie white shirt and white pants).

Players can play games with Head Chefs or Regular Chefs

Head Chef Benefits​

  • When players claim a reward, 2% of that reward is split amongst each Head Chef

  • When players create a Regular Chef, 99% of the creation fee is split amongst each Head Chef

When you go to the Chefs page, you’ll see the option to collect the SUI that has been accumulated by the Head Chef. Regular Chefs do not have this option.
